Laura Beth Hallman
Compliance Officer, Certified Fraud Examiner
-Laura Beth graduated from West Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance, along with a Master of Science in Finance and Economics. Despite the fact she is experienced in auditing, bookkeeping, tax preparation, control process development/improvement, and policy development, she focuses on compliance testing and is considered a local authority on the Bank Secrecy Act and is considered a key member of our auditing team.
- Emma is the newest member
of the Waypoint family. After Marcus
Smith left Waypoint in 2014 to take over the CFO position at Education Credit
Union, we decided an additional auditor was a must. With a degree in accounting from West Texas
A&M, and an easily recognizable strong work ethic, we knew she was the
perfect candidate to round out the team.
Most importantly, Emma is mother to an amazing young baby boy named
-Mattie is the glue that holds Waypoint together. Her title as office manager really doesn't cover the myriad of responsibilities she carries out on a daily basis. If you have ever received an email from Waypoint, it probably came from Mattie. With a professional career and five kids (yep you that that right, 5 kids), Mattie is the master of work/life balance. She does an amazing job managing the office. Some clients refer to her as the voice of Waypoint.
